Instruments in the Redeemer’s Hands by Paul Tripp

This is one of the best books to help Christians conduct biblical one-anothering. He walks through a simple paradigm of ministry and offers a down-to-earth approach to private ministry that is memorable and helpful. More than great foundations, Dr. Tripp also provides some excellent resources to equip the discipler/counselor to better minister, adding some traction to the proposed theory. Without a doubt this book is worth the investment of money and time to read.

Trusting God by Jerry Bridges

Trusting God

This book needs to be in your library. Dr. Bridges has worked through a very palatable approach to the sovereignty of God that is not calloused in dogmatism or cowering from speaking the truth of God’s rule. He clearly presents the Scriptural view of God’s sovereignty and reminds us that we must fight to trust Him. Dr. Bridges has also provided one of the best definitions of trust in God, which alone makes this book a worthy purchase.
